Mild dehydration can lead to various issues, such as:

- Headaches and unexplained fatigue

- Lowered blood pressure and irritability

- Dizziness or fainting, and sometimes insomnia

Achieving our nutrition and fitness goals requires adequate fluid intake. It's crucial to replenish fluids lost during exercise. The recommended daily fluid intake is:

- For men: 3 liters, which is about 15.5 cups or approximately 6 (16 oz) water bottles

- For women: 2.2 liters, which is about 11.5 cups or approximately 4.5 (16 oz) water bottles

These figures account for fluids from all sources, including food and beverages.

With my clinical experience as a Clinical Dietitian, I can't say enough plausible information about how important adequate fluid intake is on a daily basis. Did you know, we can go longer without food, than we can without water? Dhydratuon can cause acute kidney injuries and damage, high blood pressure, constipation...How do you know if you're consuming adequate fluids on a daily basis?
